Ah well I didnt notice till now if that makes ya feel any better C !And I def catch your radio show more often and you always manage to inform us of many things between sevens which is prob the best way of being informed about anything. The John Peel way I say. He would tell us about his walk with his dog in the countryside between Carcass and Napalm Death tunes. By the way statistically it seems a small percentage of listeners or prob blog readers for that matter contact show or leave comments etc. Bla bla .... 'ROCK ON CIARAN'

That is very disappointing, we have few enough friends in the blogosphere as it is! But I look forward to the radio show growing in strength.
I have very fond memories of Golden Maverick shows from the end of the 90s when I spent some time in Dublin. I used make valiant efforts to listen to groove and krossie's Sunday Service but often fell back to sleep. I used finally arise to your show sometime after midday, always a welcome aural wake up call. (BTW this isn't to suggest the others put me to sleep !).
When you started blogging, I remember bringing it to Paul Tarpeys attention, who believed that you may actually be Eoin Foyle. Matt Vinyl was apparently his DJ name at one stage back in the funk off days.
I enjoyed your blog posts and the way they often painted vivid pictures of walks I was and am very fond of, myself (ie, lunchtime in all city etc).
Anyway hope the building work is going well and that you have a great Christmas and New Year.
