backlash against bad tv round up

I've noticed that a few of my fellow bloggers have taken against a recent show on the ITV channel in the UK. Old Rotten Hat have this to say. National Disgrace had this to say about the whole sordid affair. Whilst One for the Road had this to say about the situation.

I'm afraid that I can't get that worked up about it myself. I saw it one evening and there was some bloke with his hand up a monkey's arse getting slated by Simon Cowell. I thought it was the X Factor and was wondering why there was a bloke with a monkey. Apparently it was a talent show. Given that I saw no talent on show I switched off the television set, went out and did something less boring instead. Actually, that's a lie. I switched channel and watched some other rubbish instead.

It wasn't so much the show - although that was pretty offensive in itself - more the fact that TV3 were showing it. I fucking hate TV3. They sum up everything that's wrong with this country.

Lorrainne Keane my arse.

I echo your sentiments wholeheartedly. TV3 is a poor version of ITV, which also happens to be shite most of the time. They even managed to fuck up the football when they had it.
