I met Billy Lyons in Road Records the other day and he was playing me the new album by US band Russian Circles. If you’re into a bit of guitar rock without any vocals then you’re just going to love their shit. It manages to combine some metal style power chords with an underlying melodic soundtrack. Its urgent sounding and I’d say these guys would do a great live gig. Their new album ‘Station’ is out on the Suicide Squeeze label on May 6th. Check it.
