tumbleweed

It's the run up to Christmas and as such there's always a dearth of releases on the seven inch format. It'll be early February before things get going again. As such I've fuck all to write about these days so you'll probably be getting an awful lot more of my nostalgic rants.

On an entirely different note I always get bombarded with crappy videos on my Facebutt but today I was sent a blinder (props to Mr Pollock). It features the fearsome New Zealand team doing the Haka. You will note from the line-up that there's no Maoris or Polynesians in the team and as such the settlers don't really have any idea what they're doing. Check it.

That is hilarious. It almost looks like a Monty Python sketch.

The guys at the end aren't even trying for fucks sake.

Its like a wedding. Only without booze to blame. Must have been what France watched before the Q/F!

I've been watching old internationals on TG4 recently and it doesn't even look like they're playing rugby. It's like they're having a game of Bulldog.

I've seen some of those games too and agree. For example, the line-outs are a world away from what you get today.

Still, the backs look like they played much more thrilling off-the-cuff rugby back then. Really sleek running moves and not the bash, bang, wallop up the middle that you normally get today. *Yawn*

That looked like a school play.

Except for the fella in the middle, who was doing it really seriously.

The Maoris proabbly really hate him.

Jim - and they had better haircuts and moustaches

OFTR - I'd love to have been to one of your school plays.

That's about as scary as my Dad trying to jolt me at halloween (3 weeks ago) with a bedsheet over his head. Am I wrong in saying the Steve Martin jerk was in that NZ team?
